When R. Kelly is not being ignored by half of the country, he's out planning outlandish projects that mean absolutely no sense, except to himself.

In a recent interview with V Magazine, the-47-year-old R&B artist was asked if he was going to follow up his Black Panties album with a sequel. To which he replied, "Absolutely. It’s called White Panties. And you can expect a whole other level." He added, "I always follow what my spirit tells me to do. When I get into the studio I write from my heart. I try to write life and not songs. People live life and when you write life you’re going to mess around and touch somebody’s heart, and they’ll relate to you and what you’re singing about."

Is it even possible for Kelly to top the vulgar monstrosity that is "Cookies?" We'll soon find out. For now, read his full interview with V here, where he also talks about his upcoming tour with Mary J. Blige and his musical connection with Lady Gaga. Or as R. Kelly likes to call it, the ebony-ivory effect.
