Despite a recent report that claimed OutKast were planning to release their first album in nearly a decade, Big Boi has come out and declared there is no album in the works. “No, no, no. We’re just doing the tour only, just for the fans,” he recently told Revolt. “That’s all it is, just the tour.”

"It's just the OutKast 20th year anniversary," he continued. "Just a way for us to celebrate with our fans, but there's no album in the works." OutKast were recently announced as co-headliners for Drake's fifth annual OVO Fest in August. They'll also be performing at the Coachella Festival this April, as well as the Governor's Ball, which takes place in New York. The confirmed dates for their festival tour can be viewed here.

Along with the OutKast news, Big Boi shared some information regarding an upcoming mixtape that he's featured on. The project is inspired by the HBO series Game of Thrones, and will include other rappers like Wale and Common. Big Boi says the mixtape will be coming out in the next few weeks.
