Coming off of the huge news of his Oscar nomination, Pharrell sits down with Revolt to talk about what goes into the creation of his songs. Pharrell explains that the energy that he brings to a song is the end result of the feeling he has when he walks in the room as seen in the video he paces around in zen-like concentration.

With that concentration comes Pharrell's need to create music that fuels emotion, such as the ones that many listeners have felt listening to his hit single "Happy" or his many productions that he's concocted over his legendary career. He explains in the video that he just wants people to "jam," and hopefully he will be dancing off the stage with award in tow when the Oscars air on March 2nd.
