Jon Bellion is an emerging singer and songwriter who has been securing major placements while pursuing a separate solo career for the past year. Today he is releasing a video for "Jim Morrison," a man whom he cites as a major influence on his career. In a tweet from last night, Bellion said that Morrison "is the reason I'm not a 'pop' artist."

The video, directed by GRVTY, finds Bellion dressed up in a suit in the middle of the woods and playing basketball. While Bellion does not rap in the song, he does make reference to Kanye West and The Notorious B.I.G.

"My artistry is my baby," Bellion told Complex about his music.

He plans on releasing a new project called The Separation before the year ends. Thus far, he has been releasing a series of videos to prep for the free project, including "New York Soul" and "One More Time."
