Drake has apparently kicked Future off the upcoming "Would You Like A Tour?" Page Six reports that the decision was made shortly after Future allegedly made some comments about Drake's latest album, Nothing Was The Same, in an interview with Billboard.

The interview, when released, had Future saying "Drake made an album that is full of hits but it doesn't grab you. They're not possessive; they don't make you feel the way I do. I want to make you want to fall in love." However, shortly after the interview came out, Future disputed the quote, saying, "Respect to Billboard, disappointed on being misquoted..always love for my fam Drizzy Drake."

However, according to Page Six, the damage was already done. Apparently, when Drake found out about the interview, he demanded that Future be taken off the tour that very date. However, shortly after an initial decision was made, negotiations began to salvage the tour and retain Future as an opening act alongside Miguel. However, these negotiations reached a final point where Future's camp decided to back out, refusing to offer financial compensation to Drake's camp.

Instead, it appears that Future will be taking his case to court over the issue of lost wages. It is believed that the Atlanta native will be looking for roughly $1.5 million in lost wages.

Ticketmaster appears to have officially removed Future's name from the bill of all of Drake's upcoming tour dates. Meanwhile, Future is gearing up to release his sophomore album, Honest, which is now slated for a release in 2014.

This is not the first time Future and Drake have been engaged in some form of disagreement. Back in 2012, Future expressed his disappointment that Drake did not show up for the video to their collaboration with each other, "Tony Montana." However, in that instance, Future eventually backed down. At this point, who knows what will end up transpiring in this scenario.

UPDATE: It looks like Drake might have found a replacement for Future for "Would You Like A Tour?" A couple of individuals are indicating that Jhene Aiko has been tabbed to open up on the tour. This selection would make sense, as Jhene appeared on Nothing Was The Same, particularly on the song "From Time." As of now, Aiko has yet to officially confirm the news.

@MikeyFresh1 def is Jhene.. she told me she was going on the tour when I saw her here in Miami last week

UPDATE: According to Hot 107.9's Beestroh in Atlanta, Drake and Future have ironed out their issues and will be touring together as planned. He cites a source close to the situation and says that a contract has been signed to move forward in the touring process.
