Every once in awhile, Jay Electronica gets on Twitter and starts talking. And every time this takes places, hundreds of desperate fans will respond, clamoring for the album. At this point, most people would just take an album sampler as proof that the album exists. During most of these exchanges, Jay ignores all of these mentions and goes back to whatever it is he was doing, likely happy about all the attention he still gets despite having put out almost no music in the last several years.

Today, hours after Jay-Z, the man who signed him to Roc Nation in 2010, put out his latest album, Magna Carta Holy Grail, Jay Elec made one of his periodic forays onto Twitter. And according to him, now that Jay and J. Cole have put out their albums, it's his turn.

ok. now it’s my turn. Lets Go.

The question remains: Does anybody actually believe him at this stage? Tweets are tweets, Jay. The fans want actual music.

Just Blaze has been working with Jay throughout most of this time. He too understands the frustrations of the fans, and as a result, it looks like he decided to suggest a song for Jay to put out. There's just one caveat: the song isn't done yet. Oh well.

@JayElectronica "bring it back"? Ha
@JustBlaze That one?
@JayElectronica yeah if it ever gets finished. Definitely a game changer broham.
@JayElectronica just listened to it again. Yes. That one. I got word from a few higher ups about it.

Guess we'll just have to wait... Like we've been doing for the last four years now.
