We know what you're thinking—J-Kwon still makes music? After Kanye West praised his song "Tipsy" yesterday in an interview in the New York Times, there's been a renewed interest in the St. Louis rapper. And now, J-Kwon's recent song "Pushing The Odds"—where he disses Pusha T and Odd Future—has come to the forefront.

Kanye mentioned J-Kwon's "Tipsy" in the interview, saying, "People would think that’s like a lower-quality, less intellectual form of hip-hop, but that’s always my No. 1."

Once the quote got out, people must have started wondering what the Hood Hop rapper had been up to. Soon after, Twitter was ablaze with the song "Pushing The Odds" which many assumed dropped late last night. However, the song is actually from a month ago, according to J-Kwon's Soundcloud account.

On Pusha T's Wrath of Caine mixtape, he makes a slight jab at the rapper with the lyric, “I’m grindin’ nigga you J-Kwon” on "Only You Can Tell It" featuring Wale.
