At about 3 AM this morning (likely while suffering from a severe case of the munchies), DrakeInstagramed a photo of a Taco Bell hot sauce packet that read, "Started from the bottom now we're here."
In case you're not familiar with instant diarrhea Taco Bell, their special made condiment packets feature quotes on them that are a cross between Fortune Cookie messages and TextsFromLastNight. Just grabbing the ones scattered on my desk there's ones that read, "Things just got real," "If you never do, you'll never know," and "You have chosen wisely."
Drake seemed quite pleased to find his lyrics on the packet, on Instagram he wrote, "Mama we made it!!!"
Is it just us or are corporations starting to get more hip? At Complex we love tracking how hip-hop has invaded the DNA of pop culture. And when even hot sauce packets are quoting rap lyrics then you know we really out here. You never thought that hip-hop would take it this far! Or something like that.
