VH1 is hard at work on a made-for-TV biopic about TLC and today we get a little more information about the project. Last week we heard that Lil Mamma will portray the late Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes and now we learn that KeKe Palmer (Akeelah and the Bee) and Drew Sidora (Step Up) have been cast as Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas and Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins respectively.
Production on the film, entitled Crazy, Sexy, Cool: The TLC Story, is expected to start next month in Atlanta with Charles Stone III (Drumline) in the director’s chair and with a script penned by Kate Lanier (Glitter).
