As previously reported, mysterious indie rocker Sufjan Stevens is making his return this year with the extensive Silver & Gold box set compiling his various Songs for Christmas EPs. Today Stevens brings us the first music video of the release, but, as its still October, it’s not all peace on Earth and good will towards men.
Animator Lee Hardcastle put together the video for “Mr. Frosty Man,” which takes the classic Mr. Frosty story and adds zombies, chainsaws and shotguns. Even old Saint Nick himself isn’t safe. Watch the clip up above and grab the album November 13 via Sufjan’s own Asthmatic Kitty.
