Premiere: ZZ Ward f/ Kendrick Lamar "Cryin' Wolf"

Off the soon-coming Til The Casket Drops.

Blues-soul singer ZZ Ward's connection with Kendrick Lamar (and hip-hop at large) goes back to her Eleven Roses mixtape, which dropped this past February. Across the free release, she covered/reinterpreted songs by Tyler, the Creator, Freddie Gibbs, and, of course, Lamar.

The Compton, Calif. MC no doubt recognized her talents and, in a way, returns the favor here on "Cryin' Wolf. The dusty, foot-stompin' joint is led by Ward's infectious vocals, which eventually give way to a sharp verse from Lamar. You can stream the track below and pre-order the album here. You can find Ward on Facebook and Twitter.
