For the past few months we've seen some amazing videos from Krispy Kreme, a rapper who has been going viral on YouTube with hilarious tracks like "Haters Wanna Be Me" and "Best Friends." The videos were funny, but Krispy Kreme's deadpan delivery left a lot of people wondering whether or not this kid was for real or just an act.

Now the truth is out there, and one person has revealed some personal details about Krispy Kreme. The man behind the videos is actually 22-year-old Tyler Cassidy, and according to the video below, he was valedictorian of his class with a 3.95 GPA.

In a separate video, a former neighbor of Tyler's shares a song from before the Krispy Kreme days.

Both videos confirm that the Southern rapper is in fact an act, but that's not going to stop us from enjoying his contributions to the Internet. Knowing that he's actually a smart guy just makes his comedy rap even more respectable.
