Joey Bada$$, one of the most buzzed about young rappers coming out of New York, should be dropping his highly anticipated new project 1999 any day now. This past week, we posted his latest release, "World Domination," which is super dope. And he just performed his first show in his native land of Brooklyn at The Knitting Factory this weekend with his Pro.Era crew (see set footage here) and made an appearance with Mac Miller at Roseland Ballroom in Manhattan Thursday night. So as the rap world patiently waits for Joey to let 1999 go, here is a little freestyle video verse to enjoy that was uploaded to the Pro.Era YouTube page earlier this week. Dude's got some serious skills. Also, watch a live performance of "Survival Tactics" from The Knitting Factory below.
