When he's not battling the bullying epidemic and putting Lil Wayne in his place, 50 Cent is working on more lofty goals. The rapper has announced that he's on a mission to feed one billion hungry people. That's billion, with a 'B.' And in a genius way that aligns his admirable goal with his profitable marketing efforts, 50 has created a new campaign. Simply stated, "like" his Street King energy drink on Facebook, and Curtis will feed a hungry child.
The idea of linking "likes" on an energy drink Facebook page to meals for starving children might be slightly off-putting to some people, but no harm done, right? No matter how you look at it, 50 Cent wins, and if he can feed a billion children along the way, we're not sure how anyone could be mad. That's good business strategy.
Watch Fif announce his campaign below.

He could feed hungry children without promoting his engery drink to earn more money! He is a very rich man, who dont need conditions to feed the poor !!

DON'T HATE IT'S A GOOD THING HE IS DOING
babyfed October 18th, 2011 at 11:23 AM
he could do it without trying to sell his product, that is charity. what he is doing is a promotion to SELL PRODUCTS. stop blindly following what someone is doing because you like how he rhymes casket and bastard.

You do know he's also using the money from street king to help provide that food? ! billion Children is a lot of money. He doesn't have that himself

So? What you guys trying to say? Hard headed monkeys. 50 has never said SK will only be a charity project. But waht 50 cent is doing, is something not many companys even consider to do. 50 is giving milions for feeding people. So? If somebody does that, he deserves to become rich in my opinion. He could also choose not to do that. By the way, 50 Cent is doing is what the modern companies probably will do. This is the modern CSR-aspect of companies if you ask me. The protests on wallstreet last weeks show that very good. Companies will start to do more for the society than before. I compliment 50 for being one of the first entrepreneurs to do this on such a big scale. If this turns out to be a succesful move, then no doubt 50 Cent will be mentionded in Academic books. Anyway, that's far in the future.

Really? Who cares if this is a form of promotion? It's a good assentive to get people to do a good thing. Kids will be eating and it would be a good start to his business too. You don't even have to buy it and he'll provide meals for the children. Don't be such assholes.

50 is doing what he is suppose to be doing both musically to bring himself back to the top where he belongs and in business also. Don't hate cause no one else in the industry is doing anything like it, not promotions wise or for charity. Its good business strategy to get his name back out there and feed children at the same time. some say 50 was great. i say 50 is a great musician because once great always great. 50 digg deep into your life and the lives of those around you and you will find great music to write about and share with others that will teach them through your music from their experiences. 50 u will be back on top, the industry like the media can make you or break u. He is a man who lived up to his word and stared over after losing his bet to Kanye. On the streets yes, people like Kanye's music, but we consider him an Ass from his previous behavior.

matilda and babyfed, the two of you are idiots, he doesnt have enough money in his pocket to buy a billion meals. when you help him by buying his product you are helping everyone that is starving. So stop being such assholes and respect what he is doing because i know the two of you are not doing it. support his efforts and help the children starving.
