Driver on Drugs Launches Flaming Car Into Second Floor of Building

The driver was stuck dangling from his car before police could rescue him.

I've been looking at the aftermath footage of this car accident from every angle I can find for the last hour, and I still have no idea how the hell it happened.

According to eyewitness reports, a driver was traveling north on French Street in Santa Ana, California at 5:25 a.m. on Sunday morning when he hit a raised center median at a high speed. From there, the car went airborne and launched into the second floor of a dental office building. Fire crews say that the vehicle burst into flames as it ripped into the side of the wall.

Local NBC affiliates report that the man was dangling from his car and a passenger was trapped inside when police arrived. To the surprise of absolutely no one, the driver admitted to being under the influence of drugs and was taken to a hospital with his passenger.

The whole thing honestly looks like something out of a video game—a fact that people were quick to point out on Twitter.
