In what is arguably the most obvious move in the history of obvious moves, the personification of Fox News is joining Fox News. Tomi Lahren, perhaps most known for her 2016 tweet comparing Black Lives Matter activists with the Ku Klux Klan, announced her Fox News employment in a Milo Yiannopoulos-liked Facebook post Wednesday.
"This exciting new step will allow me to give voice to all the America-loving patriots who have had my back since day one," Lahren explained, lest we assume she would instead be giving voice to unpatriotic patriots. "I will remain a solid and passionate advocate for you. Thank you for following me on my journey. I assure you, I will always stand up and speak out for our brave service members, our law enforcement community, our veterans, and hardworking Americans from coast to coast."
Blah blah blah.
Here are those tweets you wanted:
Continue to tell the TRUTH !!!! You are one the only ones who still Do. !!! MUCH RESPECT.
This one also seems worth pointing out:
As a fun aside, here’s a recent comment left on Lahren’s Facebook page. All capitalization, punctuation, and spacing have been copied directly from Facebook:
Lahren was previously employed by Glenn Beck's The Blaze. In May, Lahren and The Blaze reached a settlement in their brief legal standoff over her exit. Lahren had alleged that she had been fired, while The Blaze argued that she had instead been "suspended" for "unprofessional behavior."
For some reason, there was also a brief moment last year during which the disparate worlds of The Daily Show, Tomi Lahren, and controversial cupcakes collided.
