That's either a lot of Jay Z tickets, or one very very very good Jay Z ticket.

You ever spent $10,000 on Jay Z tickets? Martin Shkreli (allegedly!) has. Accountant Wendy Spaulding said in court Tuesday that records showed Shkreli used $10,000 in Retrophin money to purchase the tickets at a time when the drug company had "just tens of thousands of dollars" in its accounts, CNBCreported.

Spaulding, tapped to review Shkreli's financial records for prosecutors during his widely covered securities fraud trial, also noted that more than $1 million from Retrophin—founded by Shkreli in 2011—had been transferred to a personal bank account belonging to Shkreli. Additionally, $26,000 had been placed into the same account from MSMB Capital, another Shkreli company. Prosecutors say Shkreli also "defrauded" investors with misleading statements. Shkreli, meanwhile, has pleaded not guilty.

Since entering the spotlight back in 2015, Shkreli has become a fixture in music-related headlines. That same year, Shkreli won an auction for Wu-Tang Clan's Once Upon a Time in Shaolin album and proceeded to tease its release on Twitter. In 2016, Shkreli offered millions to Kanye West for sole ownership privileges of his The Life of Pablo album.

The Shkreli x music headlines continued as recently as May, when Lil Wayne reportedly threatened him with legal action over Tha Carter V leaks. Attorneys representing Wayne and Universal Music hit Shkreli with cease and desist letters and vowed to take him to court if the leaks continued, TMZreported at the time.

Tha Carter V, meanwhile, is (maybe!?!?) getting a proper release at some point this year. Cash Money co-founder Birdman said in January that the album was "definitely" getting a release. Wayne made similar remarks in subsequent months.
