Ever since a recording of Donald Trump bragging about sexually assaulting women emerged last Friday, a lot of attention has been paid to Trump's terrible record of sexism, misogyny, and mistreatment of women. FiveThirtyEight Editor in Chief Nate Silver tweeted a map of what the presidential election outcome would be if only women voted, and it sparked (what else?) calls from Trump supporters to repeal the 19th Amendment, which guarantees women's rights to vote.

He then tweeted a much different map—one that shows what the outcome would be if only men voted:

After the comparison was sent out, Trump trolls came riding in to suggest that the 19th Amendment should be repealed:

Give out nice enough handbags and most broads would gladly trade their voting rights for one. #repealthe19th

When u thought "grab them by the p****y" was gonna be the most misogynistic/demeaning/unintelligible thing this week but then #repealthe19th

Soon, the sentiment that women should not be able to vote took the form of a hashtag, and #repealthe19th began trending on Twitter on Tuesday and into Wednesday.

I just saw a woman tweet that we should #RepealThe19th.

Her bio says "Defender of the US Constitution." Oh, the irony.

It didn't take long for people who are not in favor of revoking women's suffrage to overtake the hashtag:

How many more preposterously misogynistic ideas can trolls make viral in the 25 days until the election? We'll find out soon enough.
