The Today Show plaza was evacuated earlier this morning after a man with a knife stabbed himself. NBC security tackled the man just as he slashed himself, and the anchors were moved inside of the studio where they continued the broadcast.
Matt Lauer would later inform everyone that the man was in custody and the plaza was once again secure:
