Bear with us, as this is just strange.
A 21-year-old Oregon woman will not face any criminal charges after being photographed inside of a horse carcass, sans her clothes. What would prompt someone to do this? Well, she said she wanted to be "one with the horse." Couldn't she have just gave it a pat on the head and become one with it's living spirit? Also, don't the blurred pics look kind of like DMX's Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood album cover?
Although this is a definite head-scratcher, the case has been shelved. The horse was 32-years-old, suffering because of medical issues and was put down humanely. However, in the video below, you can see how disturbed Sgt. Dave Thompson of the Washington County Sheriff's Office and the reporter are. The woman's mother actually ate some of the horse meat (the original intention was to kill it and eat it) and thought it was delicious, but didn't realize that her daughter had a gory Playboy shoot with the animal's remains. The disbelief in her voice suggests that she taught her daughter better than that.
Because they've received death threats, the names of the woman and her boyfriend aren't being made public. They're being called devil worshippers, among other things, but deny that this odd incident was religious and wish that it would all just go away. They fail to realize that it's kind of hard for shit like this to fade into irrelevance when there are pictures.

Such it seems are the unique actions of young girls caught up in the moment. After all why fly on a magic horse when you can sit all the way inside it? Why did this deserve being reported at all? Could Channel six find nothing newsworthy and of importance to our lives to fill the few time slots between ads?
