Worldwide Wednesday The 10 Hottest Oklahoma Women

Complex Book Club Trivia! This week marks the 71st anniversary of John Steinback's epic novel, The Grapes of Wrath. Ok, so we didn't actually read this particular American classic, but it does give us a panhandle-size chance to talk about Oklahoma: its awesome official state band; its soon-to-pull-off-the-upset-of-the-century basketball team, and, of course, its women.

Yes indeedy, there are more than a few Okies that we'd like to pokey-pokey (put that in your Dust Bowl and smoke it, Steinbeck!). In fact, there are more options than the OU offense circa 1974. Don't believe us? We're sure you'll feel otherwise after you've looked at the 10 Hottest Girls From Oklahoma.

#10. Lauren Nelson

Claim to Fame: Nelson won Miss America in 2007, making her the second consecutive woman from Oklahoma to win the pageant. During the pageant, she won the preliminary swimsuit award and also admitted her favorite sport is football. Any girl who looks good in a bikini and likes football is a wifey candidate in our book.

#9. Ashlynn Brooke

Claim to Fame: Brooke is best known for being a pornographic actress but she actually worked as a used car dealer in Oklahoma for three years prior to her adult film career. You already know we'd love her to show us the backseat.

#8. Tisha Campbell Martin

Claim to Fame: Campbell first gained fame in classic hip-hop films like House Party and School Daze but she'll probably be best remembered for her television work. She's starred in everything from Martin, to Everybody Hates Chris, to My Wife and Kids. She also once filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against Martin Lawrence which she later settled out of court. Ain't nothing like a woman whose willing to stand up to a crazy man.

#7. T.V. Carpio

Claim to Fame: Although she was born in Oklahoma, Carpio is of Filipina decent. In fact, she's the daughter of Hong Kong/Filipina singer Teresa Carpio who is a star in her own right. Carpio is best known for her role in The Beatles inspired Across The Universe. The film was a box office flop but Carpio played a lesbian cheerleader in it. FTW!

#6. Lauren Stamile

Claim to Fame: You're probably staring at your screen right now wondering; "I know I've seen that girl somewhere, but where?" That's because Stamile has had short-lived roles on dozens of TV shows including Community, Scrubs, and The West Wing. She finally found some stable work as a recurring character on Grey's Anatomy. We'd love to check her out some more, but...it's Grey's Anatomy.

#5. Nicki Aycox

Claim to Fame: Aycox has a thing for starring in cop dramas. She's had roles in everything from CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, to Cold Case, to Criminal Minds. She currently stars in Dark Blue as an undercover police officer. Which is great for her but we'd much rather see her dressed up in uniform.

#4. Kristin Chenoweth

Claim to Fame: Chenoweth has starred in a number of films (Bewtiched, The Pink Panther) and a number of TV shows (The West Wing, Pushing Daisies) but her heart was always in the theater. Her Broadway highlights include roles as Glinda in Wicked and Sally Brown in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. She's also noted for her distinct singing voice which actually sounds a lot like Betty Boop. We'd love to help her hit the high notes.

#3. Malese Jow

Claim to Fame: You might not be familiar with Jow unless you've been watching nothing but Nickelodeon the past few years, but this 19-year-old is ready to make moves beyond the kiddie market. She's a mix of Chinese, Caucasian, and Cherokee and is currently a recurring character on The Vampire Diaries. Laugh all you want, but we all know that vampire money is something serious. Just ask Kristen Stewart.

#2. Carrie Underwood

Claim to Fame: As unlikely as it seems, this Grammy Award winner is actually the most successful American Idol winner to date (she's sold more records in the US than Kelly Clarkson) and one of the most popular country music artists in America. Like Faith Hill before her, Underwood has the kind of hotness that makes us want to start listening to country music.

#1. Olivia Munn

Claim to Fame: What else can we say about two-time Complex cover girl Olivia Munn? That's she as hot as the Oklahoma sun? That she has a role in current box office smash Date Night? That she has a role in the upcoming Iron Man 2? We co-signed Munn long ago and we have no problem anointing her as the Hottest Girl From Oklahoma.
