Madrid-based photographer, Eugenio Recuenco, recently produced a photo series inspired by a number of Pablo Picasso's famously eclectic cubist portraits. The fashion photographs draw from the postures, moods, and clothing of the paintings, each offering something unique to its viewers. Recuenco strikes the perfect balance between honoring Picasso's work and while still maintaining creative expression. Haunting, sexy, and conscious—a daring combination for fashion photos, but we commend it. Well done, Recuenco.
