The 25 Photographers You Should Know

I enjoy a wide range of contemporary photographers, from the very emerging to the very blue-chip, so it was very difficult for me to select just 25 for COMPLEX's 25 Photographers You Should Know. Any list of this kind is by its very nature incomplete, but I hope the end result, which involved a very painful peeling away from my initial group of 86, gives a sense of some of the voices (ordered alphabetically from the bottom up) shaping photography in 2012.
