The clock is ticking for beverage companies and consumer advocacy groups looking to repeal Mayor Michael Bloomberg's embargo on large sized sugary drinks in New York City. The Center for Consumer Freedom recently took a few jabs at the mayor in response to his proposed ban on the sale of sodas larger than 16oz's. A recent campaign launched by CCF and contributed by Coca-Cola reads: "You only thought you lived in the land of the free," and "New Yorkers need a mayor, not a nanny."

Shot's fired.
