Gabito Ballesteros is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist from Mexico. He possesses an expressive, reedy tenor singing voice and weds traditional styles -- primarily norteño and mariachi -- to modern melodies and production styles. His 2020 duet with Aldo Trujilio on "El Rompecabezas" brought him his first media and industry attention. 2022's "AMG" single with Natanael Cano and Peso Pluma debuted inside Hot 100 before topping the Hot Latin Songs chart. The GB, his debut studio album, appeared in 2024. In May 2024, Ballesteros released his first studio album. Titled The GB, the 22-track set, written primarily by Ballesteros, Daniel Candia, and Alan Lopez is rich in experimentation and collaboration.
