XXL's 10th Freshman Spot, Nav on Fame & Career Mistakes, Album Packaging Dead? | Everyday Struggle

On Thursday’s (March 28) episode of #EverydayStruggle, Nadeska, Wayno and DJ Akademiks kick off the show discussing Nav’s recent interview with Pitchfork where he admits that his debut album ‘Reckless’ was under-whelming, ethic made him humble himself. Ak then takes the crew through the first week album sales of Nav and Rich The Kid. Halfway into the episode, Ak and Wayno select their top 10 picks for XXL’s 2019 Freshman Class. The trio then reflects on the game-changing hip-hop show from the late ‘80s and ‘90s, ‘YO! MTV Raps.’ The squad looks into the situation between Meek Mill and Tory Lane over new artist, Melii. Later in the show, the EDS squad discusses Rich The Kid and Lil Uzi Vert’s beef coming to an end, followed by Roc Nation updating their website with Lil Uzi Vert. To wrap up the show, the EDS gang talks about their favorite album packaging and questions its relevancy today.
