Tory Lanez Accepts Joyner’s Battle Challenge, Is Kanye Just Jealous of Drake? | Everyday Struggle

On Wednesday’s episode of #EverydayStruggle, Nadeska, Wayno and DJ Akademiks review Tory Lanez’s latest song “Lucky You Freestyle,” which Is in response to Joyner Lucas’ challenge—made shortly after Lanez claimed that he was better than Joyner on Instagram Live. The trio give their opinion on the new song by the Canadian artist, and believe that Joyner may will respond soon to Tory’s freestyle. Later in the episode, Ak and Wayno speak on Juice WRLD”s issues with pop icon Sting and the controversy surrounding Juice’s hit song “Lucid Dreams” which uses an interpolation of 'Shape of My Heart.' According to Nicki Mira, producer of the song, Sting is taking an 85% cut from the sales of the popular record. Ak and Wayno share important insight on how to become a successful producer, and what the difference is between a sample and an interpolation. To close out the show, the EDS squad weighs in on Talib Kweli’s recent interview with N.O.R.E.’s  Drink Champs podcast. According to Talib, rapper Kanye West was triggered by Drake when the Canadian rapper moved to Calabasas, which is the reason why Talib believes Kanye has been acting the way he has been.
