Quality of Rap Getting Worse? YoungBoy Review, Rappers Pretending to Be Indie | Everyday Struggle
On Tuesday’s (Feb. 25) episode of #EverydayStruggle, Nadeska, Wayno and DJ Akademiks start off the show celebrating Black History Month by highlighting three pioneers that have impacted the culture, such as Nina Simone, Aaron McGruder and Muhammed Ali. Next, the crew shares their comments on Lil Baby, Swae Lee and Meek Mill tweeting about their disdain for today’s rap music and soon after, the EDS trio reacts to Freddie Gibbs’ recent tweet where he shares that an artist is ‘trash’ if their label has them other things besides rap. To close out the show, the crew dissects Youngboy NBA’s latest project, ‘Still Flexin, Still Steppin’ in their ‘Review’ segment and also answer fan questions regarding record labels needing to approve mixtapes for artists as they do for studio albums.
