Is Nicki Minaj Retiring?, Post Malone Album Review, Hip-Hop Most Critical Genre? | Everyday Struggle

On Monday’s (Sept. 9) episode of #EverydayStruggle, Nadeska, Wayno and DJ Akademiks kick off the show discussing Nicki Minaj’s shocking retirement announcement from last week. The crew then weighs in on whether or not they believe Nicki will actually retire, or just take a break from the scene. Soon after, the EDS squad comments on Lil Tecca’s early retirement plans from music, and discuss what could possibly be the reason for Tecca wanting to give up music already. Later in the show, the crew share their thoughts on Post Malone’s third studio album ‘Hollywood’s Bleeding’ in their ‘The Review’ segment. Afterwards, DJ Akademiks runs through the upcoming first week sales numbers for Post Malone’s latest project, Lil Tecca’s debut album ‘We Love You Tecca,’ Young Thug’s ‘So Much Fun,’ Chris Brown’s ‘Indigo’ and Travis Scott’s ‘Astroworld.’ To close out the show, the EDS trio answers a fan question about why hip-hop is so critical within the genre, in comparison to other genres of music.
