Meek Mill & Lil Baby Albums, Jay Explains ‘What’s Free’ Line, Em’s ‘Kick Off’ | Everyday Struggle

On Monday’s (Dec. 3) episode of #EverydayStruggle, Nadeska, Wayno and DJ Akademiks review the latest projects released by Meek Mill and Lil Baby. After dropping ‘Wins & Loses’ in 2017, Meek returned last week with the release of his fourth studio album, ‘Championships.’ The new LP, which features a star-studded line-up of guest appearances, is highlighted by the Jay-Z and Rick Ross-assisted track, “What’s Free,” as well as the Drake and Meek collab joint “Going Bad.” After the review of Meek’s album, the crew examines the Lil Baby’s newest mixtape, ‘Street Gossip.’ Released last Friday (Nov. 30), the project boasts guest features from 2 Chainz, Meek Mill, Gunna, Gucci Mane and more. Halfway through the episode, the EDS trio shares their thoughts on Eminem’s 10-minute plus “Kick Off Freestyle,” which was released by the Detroit rapper in celebration of the film he helped produce called ‘Bodied.’Later in the episode, Akademiks runs through the weekly Billboard numbers, which see Travis Scott land at the No. 1 spot again while 6ix9ine’s ‘Dummy Boy’ debuts at No. 2. To conclude Monday’s episode, the crew answers a fan question regarding the proper length of a good album.
