Cardi B has been fending off death threats, but that isn’t stopping her from getting her money on All-Star Weekend. As reported by TMZ, she’s still slated to host three times during the weekend festival in Los Angeles, including an appearance with Migos. Cardi reportedly stands to make around $250,000.

On Monday, Cardi posted a photo of herself on social media wearing a blue fur coat from the Super Bowl, with the caption, “I hate wearing Flue but this coat was too poppin.” Her use of the word ‘flue’ got her in trouble, since it’s a diss to the Crips’ favorite color, blue. The photo garnered over a million likes, and Cardi has since disabled the comments and deleted the caption.

Cardi has been allegedly tied to Bloods and certainly is devoted to the color red, so the photo angered many Crips. The resulting threats included, “@iamcardib this will not be accepted #DONTCOMETOLA, and Now why you go and do this fuck shit Cardi. This is literally WestCoast Suicide .... bitch betta get #neutral.

According to TMZ, while she isn’t concerned—reportedly reasoning that “she's from the streets"—the nightclubs where she’s hosting have increased their security with armed backup and have tripled the number of guards they typically hire. They’ve also hired off-duty cops, who will wear their uniforms in the clubs. It’s really protect Cardi B at all costs.
