Healing: Surviving a Mass Shooting | Complex News Presents

There have been more mass shootings across America in 2019 than there are days in the year. Each tragedy receives a moment in the press, but after the cameras go away, those affected are left to deal with mounting medical debt and significant trauma. On today’s Complex News Presents, we learn about the growing community of survivors of mass violence in America. Speedy Morman travels to Antioch, Tennessee to meet with survivors of  Waffle House shooting that took place on April 22nd, 2018 to learn their side of the story and how they’re coming to terms with the tragedy as they await justice.
