School Officials Are Afraid Middle Schoolers Are Snorting Smarties

Smarties. You know, they're those tiny little circular candies that kids will receive as Halloween treats every year. Well, apparently parents of middle school students at Rhode Island and Maine are horrified that their children are snorting to them.

Based on extensive research of YouTube videos that are several months-to years-old, school officials are concerned about this "widespread phenomenon." The potential side effects to snorting Smarties include infections and maggots drawn to nasal cavities by the sugary deliciousness.
