Andrew Bogut only scored two points during Game 2 of the 2016 NBA Finals, but he played a big role on the defensive side of the ball for Golden State and helped set the tone early for the Warriors. So after the Warriors won the game 110-77, Bogut was invited to sit down with Shaquille O'Neal, Kenny Smith, and Grant Hill for an interview that aired on NBA TV. But it might be the last time he receives an invitation after the way the interview ended.
As Bogut prepared to leave the NBA TV set, Shaq gave him a handshake to congratulate him on playing a good game. And Bogut responded by—welp—cracking a joke about how he knows a few ladies who know Shaq back in his native Australia.
"I met some ladies that met him back in Australia," Bogut said with a smile on his face.
“Shhhh,” Shaq said, quickly cutting Bogut off.
“Easy! Snitches get stitches!” Smith yelled.
"He was young!" Bogut said. "He was, how old were you? 21?"
“Welcome to D’Angelo Russell Studios!” Shaq said. “The Australian office.”
Shaq isn’t married anymore and Bogut didn't go into any great detail about what he was referring to, but still…awkkkkkkkward! Unless Bogut manages to drop, like, 50 at some point during the remainder of the Finals, we wouldn’t expect to see him back on the NBA TV set anytime soon.
