While most of us will need to wait another week to watch Deadpool 2, a select few were able to attend screenings of the sequel to the 2016 film on Thursday. And judging from the reactions provided on Twitter, there appears to be some immediate takeaways regarding the movie starring Ryan Reynolds, Josh Brolin, Morena Baccarin, and Zazie Beetz.
The violence has been ramped up for Deadpool 2. Complex’s own Khal sent out a warning that the film is “ultra violent” while People news editor for movies Nigel M. Smith called it “the most violent major release since Kill Bill Volume 1.” If you're not here for the violence, then it looks like DP2 may not be for you.
The post-credits scene is what everyone seems to be talking about. Those who have watched the film are putting forth maximum effort to avoid spoiling the moment. Uproxx senior entertainment writer Mike Ryan deemed it “my now favorite post credit scene,” which is quite surprising since the moment in Avengers: Infinity War after the approximately eight hours of credits when—wait, still too soon? All in all, it seems like those that got a chance to see the movie are pretty happy with it.
