Earlier this week, Netflix whet our appetites for Dave Chapelle's third Netflix stand-up special, Equanimity, with a hilarious clip of him riffing on the people who voted for Donald Trump. It was the long-awaited third Netflix special in his deal with the streaming giant that was reportedly worth $60 million. Today, Netflix decided to drop a new trailer for Equanimity, with Chappelle reflecting on what it was like to return home after having a sleepover with his white friends, and we got a surprise towards the end.

Chappelle comments on how he returned to D.C. to shoot his final Netflix special (which took place in September of 2017), and now it was time to "Make America wait again." Then, Netflix drops the megaton bomb of Chappelle having filmed ANOTHER special this past November! And, surprise: it's dropping on New Year's Eve as well!

THIS NEW YEAR'S EVE:
Ball drops: 1
Chappelle specials: 2

What will be Chappelle's fourth(!) Netflix special,  The Bird Revelation, is said to have been filmed at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles on November 20, 2017, so this funny is market fresh. All we hear him say is "it is really bad out here," but one has to wonder what this would be referring to. The Harvey Weinstein scandal(s) didn't drop until October of this year, so we wouldn't be surprised if that was what he was referring to, but hell, this is America, so Dave could be talking about ANYTHING.

Check out the trailer for Equanimity with the announcement for The Bird Revelation up above.
