This Dutch Family Accidentally Drove Through a California Wildfire

A Dutch family drove through a California wildfire and recorded it all.

A Dutch family on vacation stumbled upon a horrendous wildfire while driving on the Pacific Coast Highway. For whatever reason, the road was not closed down.

As of Saturday, around 600 hundred firefighters have been fighting the fire, which has spanned around 1,236 acres around Solimar Beach in Ventura County. It started the night before and at its peak, nearby residents were told that they had to be evacuated. The evacuation mandate has since been lifted. 

A member of the Dutch family recorded a terrifying video of her family braving the fire, which she later tweeted. You can see it below.
