Here's a great reason to score 2400 on your SATs, excel in the military, pass grueling physical exams and extreme training, and maybe – just maybe – become one of a handful of people on Earth selected as astronauts: You get to see cool movies before everyone else.

The astronauts aboard the International Space Station got to watch an early screening of Ridley Scott's Matt Damon vehicle The Martian – in space.

The rest of us can see The Martian when it comes out on Oct. 2.
