“Unedited Footage of a Bear” is a bit of a misnomer for this latest bizarre infomercial from Adult Swim, which gives “Too Many Cooks” a run for its money in its darkness.
In fact, this one may be even more unsettling.
It all seems so innocent at first, perhaps a relatively simple parody of ubiquitous drug commercials. But that’s when things start to get very weird; even as the typical “fine print” runs along the bottom of the screen, some sort of zombie/clone of the protagonist unleashes an absolutely hellacious attack that leaves her victim bloody and broken.
What does it all mean? A critique of suburban lifestyles? A metaphor for the effects of taking too many drugs and what they actually do to you? Is it all just meant to represent how you feel when your sinuses are clogged? Something else?
And who the hell is Donna?
