Authorities in suburban Philadelphia say a high school senior was arrested yesterday after her plot to kill fellow classmates and a teacher was uncovered.

NBC Philadelphia reports that police found the notebook of the 17-year-old Radnor High School student, which revealed her aspirations to be the "first female mass murderer." Her writings also mentioned admiration for Columbine High School killers Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold

But imagine the power," the girl allegedly wrote. "The bullets leaving the gun with a loud bang, piercing kids around me, the way they collapse, their blood splattering the floor... the screams.

According to NBC Philadelphia, the girl was arrested and will face juvenile charges for making terroristic threats. Furthermore, police acknowledged that she has a history of mental illness.

Referencing the Columbine tragedy, Radnor Township Police Superintendent Bill Colarulo said that "there are always warning signs."
