It is the business of Fox News to enflame the viewing public, regardless of whether viewers agree with their strongly conservative opinions or not. So really, a host suggesting that young women should be excused from voting so that they “can go back on Tinder and Match.com” is probably not that out of character for the network.

However, The Five co-host Kimberly Guilfoyle still sounded pretty ridiculous when she said that young women can’t truly understand the implications of voting because they don’t have the requisite “life experience” to have an informed opinion. Co-host Greg Gutfeld also chimed in that not only do you get wiser as you age, but you also get more conservative.

So wait, what are they really trying to say? Let’s do some quick "Fox News math" here:

  • Age = Wisdom

  • Age = Conservative

  • Therefore:

  • Conservative = Wisdom

Wow. What a positively shocking result.
