A British man had the misfortune of a parcel containing $1,600 worth of marijuana being delivered to his house just as police were raiding it for drugs.

The New York Daily News reports that police in Lydney, Gloucestershire began monitoring 23-year-old Kyle Morgan last year after obtaining package labeled "Jake" intended for him that contained over three ounces of weed.

They raided his apartment in Oct. 2013, yet only discovered $13 worth of marijuana. In the midst of their search, another package containing $1,600 worth of the drug was reportedly delivered to the apartment.

Morgan, who maintained that the bulk of the marijuana was for a friend named Jake, was charged for evading the prohibition on the importation of legal drugs and evading. He pleaded guilty last week and was sentenced to a year of community service in addition to being forced to turn in the profits from his drug sales.
