How are drone strikes like Harvey Keitel’s balls? If you ask John Oliver, he’d say that they are “lost in a haze of fuzziness and gray areas.”
As he took a look at the impact drone strikes are having in the Middle East, and the perpetual fear that many civilians live in, Oliver examined the vague policies and laws surrounding the United States' vast and highly-secretive drone program. He looked at old footage and statistics to make us realize that these “precision” bombings are not as accurate as we would like them to be, and that we often take out many civilians in addition to military targets when launching these attacks.
Making children fear the sky (as one Pakistani boy said he now does) is probably not a good look for America.
