So it turns out Ben Affleck is just like those kids from that movie 21, sort of.

In a new interview with Details, the actor admits that he did learn how to count cards, and he used that skill to win, but he says he was never kicked out of any casinos like the reports suggested.

They did, however tell him, he couldn't play anymore.

"That is true. I took some time to learn the game and became a decent blackjack player. And once I became decent, the casinos asked me not to play blackjack," he told the magazine. "I mean the fact that being good at the game is against the rules at a casino should tell you something about a casino. They don't want you have a sporting chance."

Keep in mind, counting cards is not illegal, but casinos can ban anyone from playing any game they choose. Apparently, when word got out that Affleck was killing it at the tables, he was banned from playing at any of the casinos in Vegas, and later, told he couldn't play at a Canadian casino near where Batman V Superman was shooting.

Affleck actually sounded kind of bummed that they didn't have a couple of big dudes drag him away from the table and rough him up out by the dumpster, saying "Unfortunately they just came up and said, 'We can't let you play blackjack. But we have other table games. We have Chinese poker."'

No word on how Affleck is filling his desire to gamble these days, but it must be said, scratch-off tickets would not be a good look for Bruce Wayne.
