Would you say Jesus is big enough for you? Because on August 7 on Adult Swim, that’s exactly what you’ll be getting as Black Jesus makes its debut.
Starring Gerald “Slink” Johnson, Charlie Murphy, Corey Holcomb, and several others, the show will follow Jesus as he returns to Compton, CA and begins to spread the gospel. Of course, he also does it while turning water into Hennessy.
The show is from the mind of Boondocks creator Aaron McGruder, and looks absolutely absurd in the best way possible. Check out the trailer above.
