Resort Deck Collapses in South Carolina Leaving Over a Dozen Injured

Over a dozen people were injured yesterday after the deck at an oceanfront resort in South Carolina suddenly collapsed while 25 people were trying to take a selfie in front of a rainbow which had formed over an ocean. 

According to WMBF, the collapse happened around 6:15 p.m. yesterday the Pawley's Island inn, sending the deck on a 10 to 12-foot fall as it collapsed in on itself. WMBF adds that while a total 18 people were injured, five of them refused medical attention. The 13 who were seriously injured were taken to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, as well as Georgetown and Waccamaw hospitals.
