We don’t just want Nicole Richie back on reality TV; we need her. Our prayers have been answered, as seven years after The Simple Life ended we now have a new series from Richie: Candidly Nicole.
If the above trailer is any indication, it seems like Richie has hit a new level of self-awareness. This new show looks to be more a parody of Richie than an actual documentary, which is vaguely disappointing. Instead, according to VH1, “The series will follow Richie as she and her family navigate life, while she adds her hilarious commentary to every situation.”
Will her commentary on every situation truly be "hilarious?" We tend to doubt it, but hey...you never know. In any case, the show debuts on VH1 on July 17.
