This past March, 300: Rise of an Empire hit theaters and was a huge success, grossing over $300 million at the worldwide box office. The movie picks up where the original 300 left off, with a new set of heroes (led by Sullivan Stapleton) battling against Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro) and his navy (led by Eva Green) as they continue their invasion of Greece. There are a ton of epic battle sequences and very few shirts.
Tomorrow, this action-packed movie will be available in a Blu-ray 3D Combo Pack, as well as standard DVD and digital download. Really, though, Blu-ray is the ideal format to see the film, given its stunning visuals that are quite similar to the original.
There will also be over an hour of bonus footage, including one feature called “Becoming a Warrior,” which will undoubtedly inspire you to do a ton of situps.
