A man was arrested at Newark International Airport for trying to sneak cookies stuffed with cocaine into the country after returning from Guatemala

The Smoking Gun reports that Mauricio Isidro Rivera Hernandez, 30, was stopped at the airport earlier this month after coming back from his native Guatemala. However, something about luggage packed with cookies seemed off, so U.S. Customs and Border Patrol officers elected to search his belongings. Inside of the cookies were 118 pellets holding three pounds of cocaine worth $52,000.

Rivera Hernandez was handed over to Port Authority police. He currently faces drug smuggling charges.
