Molly Schuyler, conqueror of food, has done it again. Schuyler, who shattered a world record by eating a 72-ounce steak in under three minutes in Portland earlier this year, consumed two 72-ounce steak dinners in less than 15 minutes during a recent trip to a Texas steakhouse.
Standing 5'7" and weighing 135 pounds, the Bellevue, Neb. native wowed spectators at Big Texas Steak Ranch in Amarillo, Texas. Not only did she consume the two massive steaks, she also devoured her sides—a salad, shrimp, a baked potato and a bread roll—like it was routine. Co-owner Danny Lee couldn't believe it.
"This little girl walked in here and...she's one of the daintiest, smallest ladies that I've see try the 72-ounce steak," Lee told the Amarillo Globe-News. Lee learned a valuable lesson: Never underestimate a competitive eater.
